A kitchen screen instead of paper tickets
The cook sees orders on a tablet and taps one button. The guest sees their number on the pickup screen.
What it does
Three columns
New, In progress, Ready. One button moves an order on, the back arrow moves it a step back.
Colors and timer
A card turns yellow at 75% of the time norm and red when it is exceeded. Set the norm per dish, category or location.
Stations
The bartender sees only drinks, the hot line only hot dishes. The order is Ready when every station marks its part.
Everything about the order
Number, table, waiter, guest comment (no onions), courses and an added tag on later additions.
How it works
- 1
Settings, Screen links, Kitchen (KDS): copy the link.
- 2
Open it in the browser of a kitchen tablet and add it to the home screen.
- 3
Orders appear on their own. The cook taps Start, Ready, Served.
Questions and answers
Do I need a separate screen for the bar?+
No. Assign a station such as Bar to dishes and open the same screen on a second tablet with that station selected.
What if I have no kitchen screen?+
Turn KDS off in location settings: an order becomes Ready at once and the barista hands it over.
