Launch in one evening: step-by-step plan

What to do, in order, to take orders in Qvon tomorrow morning.

  1. 1Pick your venue type: Settings → "Venue type". Qvon turns on what you need: tables, waiters, kitchen display. See Venue type.
  2. 2Set up the menu: categories, dishes, prices. See Where to start with the menu. Support can help move a menu over from another system, see Moving your menu from another system.
  3. 3Check your PIN and add staff with their PINs. See How to add a staff member.
  4. 4If you have a dining room, set up tables. See How to set up tables.
  5. 5Install Qvon POS on the till and connect the device to your location with a code from the back office. See Installing Qvon POS on Windows.
  6. 6Connect a receipt printer if you need one: in Qvon POS Tools → "Receipt printer".
  7. 7Open a shift on the till and ring up a test order. See How to open a shift.

You can remove the test order afterwards by cancelling it in the till's Queue.
